In-wall media control

Now playing,
on the wall.

A precision in-wall touchscreen that shows what’s on — album art, artist, progress — and puts transport, volume, sources, room announcements and two-way intercom under your thumb. Runs entirely on your LAN. Speaks both Control4 and Home Assistant.

01 — CAPABILITIES

Real now-playing

Live album art, title, artist and an interpolated progress bar — pulled straight from the room’s active player, not a thumbnail cache.

ART · METADATA · POSITION

Transport & volume

Play, pause, skip, seek, mute and set level — with the control set gated to what the current source actually supports.

CAPS-AWARE UI

Source switching

Jump between streaming, tuners, disc and inputs from the panel — the same source list your system already knows.

ROOM SOURCES

Announcements

Push a whole-home or single-room announcement with a chime — dinner’s ready, someone’s at the gate — over the built-in speaker.

ES8311 · ROOM BROADCAST

Two-way intercom

Room-to-room and doorbell calls over SIP, with echo cancellation on the mic-equipped panels. Answer the door from the kitchen.

SIP · AEC · DOORBELL

Local & private

The panel talks to your controller over the LAN and nothing else. No account, no cloud dependency. It works when the internet doesn’t.

NO CLOUD · NO ACCOUNT

One device. Either brain.

02 — INTEGRATION

The keypad speaks one small, neutral JSON protocol over your network. A thin adapter on each platform translates your system to it — so the same hardware drops into either world, and the cloud is never in the loop.

Control4

DriverWorks

A signed .c4z driver runs on the Director, reads the room’s now-playing state, and relays every control back to the panel.

  • Installs from Composer like any driver
  • Reads live media info, volume, source & power
  • Rides the native intercom for calls & announce
  • One driver per panel, dropped in its room

Home Assistant

HACS

A custom integration mirrors any media_player and area to the panel — full metadata, native announcements, scenes and lights.

  • Self-install through HACS — no dealer
  • Full now-playing on Sonos, Spotify, AirPlay…
  • Native announce; intercom via Asterisk
  • Config flow picks the device & the player

Same firmware, either way — the device can’t tell which adapter is on the other end, and unknown messages are ignored on both sides, so the two stay forward-compatible.

Pick the glass. The software is the same.

03 — HARDWARE

One firmware image serves the whole lineup — from a pocket-sized single-gang panel to a 10-inch wall dashboard. Choose by size, mounting and how you want to pull power.
